It’s been a minute.

We had to close KaiBaiBo earlier this year — one of the hardest calls we’ve had to make. And we’ve missed it. The food, the energy, the people across the counter. All of it.

Since then, I’ve been figuring out what comes next. Talking it through with friends, family, and even Will Guidara — the restauranteur & producer on The Bear. It’s been a back-and-forth, but the answer kept pulling back to this: make the food we love, for the people who get it.

So, for one night only, we’re back — taking over the kitchen at our pals Ropes & Twines.

A tight three-course menu: punchy starter, a serious bowl of ramen, and a dessert. 40 seats. 4 time slots. 10 seats at a time.

This isn’t nostalgia. It’s unfinished business.
